Since 2003, Everyone’s Harvest has been running Marina’s Certified Farmers’ Market. The outdoor market has become a place for small-scale family farmers and local independent businesses to sell to the local area. To the community, the weekly event brings people together. The market consists of an average of 20 to 30 vendors and 500 to 800 customers depending on the season every Sunday from 10am to 2pm, year around.

Unique qualities to the Marina Market include: free children art activities, information booth, free educational workshops from composting to cooking, and live local music. We give community groups, school clubs and non-profits free booth space to do public out-reach and fundraising at the market.
Everyone’s Harvest is a non-profit organization (tax id #48-1290990). Our mission is to support sustainable agriculture and local economic development through the creation and operation of a certified farmers’ market. Our board includes Marina residents, Farmers’ Market vendors and the Cal State Monterey Bay staff and students.
Future Projects: Everyone's Harvest Mobile Market Project
Everyone’s Harvest wants to branch out and bring fresh produce to the people directly through schools and community events with a Mobile Market. The Mobile Market project would provide school classrooms and local agencies’ events a scale-scale demonstration of a farmers’ market through a classic farm-stand display.
Everyone’s Harvest’s will enter classrooms in Salinas, Marina, Seaside, Fort Ord, and Soledad and set-up a farm-stand display to assist local nutritional agencies, 5 A Day and Monterey County Farm to School Partnership with education presentations about the importance of nutritional foods and the variety of produce available at a farmers’ markets. After each presentation, the farm-stand display will be available for parents after schools to purchase fresh produce at a reasonably rate. In addition, Everyone’s Harvest will use this farm-stand display at California State University Monterey Bay (CSUMB), YMCA, and Olsen Elementary School events.
5 A Day, Monterey County Farm to School Partnership and CSUMB will provide the staff and volunteers to manage the farm-stand display and presentations. The local schools and events provide the audience and venue. Everyone’s Harvest will provide the over all direction of the Mobile Market and the farm-stand display. This project will provide agencies a new and direct system to promote nutritional foods and give the local community direct access to fresh local produce.
