| Everyone's Harvest is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit (for social profit) organization running Marina's Certified Farmers' Market since June of 2003. Everyone's Harvest
in accordance with state, county, and local laws, for the benefit
of farmers and consumers alike.
 Our Mission
Everyone's Harvest mission is to support sustainable agriculture and local economic development through the creation and operation of a certified farmers’ market. We run Marina’s Certified Farmers’ Market in Monterey County. We believe everyone has the right to fresh, healthy, organic, produce supplied by their local region and free public events are necessary to strengthen a community.
Our Community
Marina is located on the Pacific Coast. The downtown area of Marina, California is a small diverse community. Marina is the seventh most ethnically diverse population in the United States. California State University Monterey Bay (CSUMB), with 3,020 students, is located right near the city in the former Fort Ord Military Base area. The University has brought Marina many new community members including, college students, faculty and new businesses owners. Marina is a 20-minute drive from Salinas Valley, one of the largest agriculture areas in the nation.
Everyone's Harvest Board of Directors
Presently, Everyone’s Harvest Board Members consists of local business entrepreneurs, Marina and Seaside residents and CSUMB students and staff.
Iris Peppard is the Executive Director and the founder of Everyone’s Harvest. In addition, she is the Garden Coordinator for the CSUMB Service Learning Institute Community Garden Park on Soledad Street in Salinas's Chinatown area.
Grace Dominguez is the Vice President and a CSUMB student. She was the market's first USDA intern.She is a CSUMB student and a single mother. In her four years as a Marina resident she has volunteered with The Marine Mammal Center and the Salvation Army in the local community.
Lani Clough is the Secretary and a CSUMB graduate. She is the Internship and Faculty Development Coordinator for Marine Advanced Technology Education. The MATE Center is a national organization funded by grants through NSF which promotes marine science education.
Bruce Delgado is the treasurer and a former Marina City Council Member (00-04). Delgado is a Fort Ord BLM botanist. He also serves on the board of directors for the California Native Plant Society, Monterey Bay Youth Camp and the Chuck Haugen Conservation Fund <www.chuckhaugenconservationfund.org>.
Efren Avalos is a board member and a graduate of the Agricultural Land Base Association (ALBA). He is the owner of Avalos Organic Farm and an organic farmer at Marina's Certified Farmers' Market among many other farmers' market in the region.
Everyone's Harvest Advisory Board
Diane Norwell is a vendor at Marina's Certified Farmers' Market. She produces homemade soap. She has 30 years of administrative experience in higher education, at Tulane University and UC Santa Cruz.
Chris Russo is a CSUMB student and a member of the CSUMB Associated Student Environmental Committee. He is majoring in Telecommunications Networking.
