Designated an essential business in the community, Everyone’s Harvest continues to operate Certified Farmers’ Markets in Pacific Grove and Marina during the current shelter-in-place mandate.
The nonprofit’s mission of providing local residents access to healthy, affordable fruits and vegetables remains stronger than ever. Toward that end, Everyone’s Harvest has launched an innovative and socially responsible online pre-ordering system to support shoppers and vendors at both markets.
It begins on Monday, April 13 at the weekly market in Pacific Grove, with the Marina market going online Sunday, April 19.
Consumers will be able to access a digital form through the nonprofit’s website at www.everyonesharvest.org, and choose products among the farmers and vendors who support each market.
Whether it’s a dozen fresh eggs from Clara’s Eggs, a baguette from Ad Astra Bread, produce from Hall’s Organic Farms, cut flowers from Santa Rosa Flowers or a bevy of other options, shoppers in Pacific Grove will find the category they desire online.
It’s easy, convenient and supports local vendors while allowing for extra social distancing in these uncertain times.
Online shoppers then select a time on each market’s day to pick up and pay for their order, choosing the appropriate payment method — EBT (with market match), cash or card, Market Money or Fresh Rx Tokens.
A staff member from Everyone’s Harvest will send out an order confirmation which must be presented to the market’s information booth upon arrival.
Shoppers who would like faster service and direct information on current stock and pricing can receive vendor contact information by emailing maranatha@everyonesharvest.org.
